I will present a selection of fine art nude photographs for which I have modeled over the past two years. I consider aspects of objectivity and subjectivity, whereby the model acts as object of the camera/photographer's gaze as well as active subject, co-creator. I will revisit the ongoing discussion regarding nudes as art, erotica and pornography.

Furthermore, the juxtaposition of modeling and my role as a psychiatrist is examined. How do years of work as a Western scientific physician, trained to instrumentalize herself as a vehicle for investigation of other--balancing objectivity and subjectivity for diagnosis and treatment - interface with this bodily mode of self-expression?
